FAQ

The Info You’re After

WHERE DOES YOUR NAME COME FROM?

The name Nasty Woman comes from the feminist movement that took place in 2016 after Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton “such a nasty woman.” Instead of being offended, women around the world embraced what was meant as an insult and reclaimed the word, and it became a rallying cry for women everywhere. Nasty Woman Earrings is meant to empower people to say, do, and wear whatever makes them happy, even down to your earrings.

WHAT IS POLYMER CLAY LIKE?

Polymer clay is an incredibly lightweight material, so even large earrings can feel like they're barely there! While polymer clay is durable, please be careful with your earrings. They can break under excessive pressure.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS?

Yes! I would love to make something special just for you. Email (graceofferdahl@gmail.com) or DM me (@nastywomanearrings) to get started on the process.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY EARRINGS?

You can use a soft, slightly moist piece of fabric (like a q-tip or cloth) to remove any dust or dirt. Avoid showering or swimming while wearing your earrings, and try to keep them away from any harsh chemicals, perfumes, or hairsprays.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

I do not accept returns due to health and safety regulations, but I will absolutely work with you if you are unsatisfied in any way! Refunds and/or replacements are available up to 7 days after you receive your earrings.

CAN I BUY YOUR EARRINGS IN PERSON?

You certainly can! As of February 2021, Nasty Woman Earrings will be sold at Common Good Studio. Common Goods is a small business co-op located at 2000 Canfield Road, Youngstown, OH 44511.
